When you have clarity within yourself, you can then bring out the clarity in other people. Â Youâre literally impacting other people’s future when they can see the changes that you’re making. That in turn, will come back around and impact your future. Â In short, clarity is power.
The clearer you are on what you want, the faster you can achieve it.
If youâre unsure and indecisive about your wants and needs, then you will waste time chasing your tail and getting nowhere. Â This is the thought process behind the phrase âLiving for the weekend.â
If youâre not sure of what you want to accomplish or accumulate in your life, the days quickly fly by and youâre left feeling bad about your lack of success in the past or worried about the stresses that your future will bring. Â Youâre not living in the moment.
When you’re not present in the moment, what you’re literally doing is allowing time to pass without absorbing all there is to take in at that moment…leaving you feeling unfulfilled and wishing the future would come sooner.
But here’s the thing that most people don’t realize: being clear and certain of your wants and needs produces speed.  That speed allows you to accomplish your goals faster.  You may not have the absolute path in place on how to achieve it right now, but if you have clarity on the end goal, you will find a wayâŠ
Your hunger will push you towards your goal.
You don’t have to know the “how” but you have to know your “why.”
If you didnât have hardships or some sort of negativity in your life, then you havenât developed your hunger muscles.  Ever see someone whoâs had everything handed to them?  They have all the money they need, a great education⊠ They have few worries and therefore very weak hunger muscles because they haven’t had to struggle through the pains to accomplish something great.  They donât know or understand the adversities of the world.
People with that mentality rarely have the power, the drive, the foresight, or those âhunger musclesâ to get themselves out of that adversity. Â They collapse in on themselves, become highly dysfunctional, and/or end up with bad relationships. Sometimes they end up in rehab.
Itâs all about the story that someone tells themselvesâŠand not having clarity with their passions or purpose.  They may have the resources to get what they want, but they continuously revert back to some bullshit story that pulls them back down into their adversity.  They havenât developed the hunger to overcome the issues in their livesâŠand that keeps them from achieving their goals.
The problem that I often see in peopleâs lives is that limit themselves to what they know right now. Â They think to themselves, âI donât know how to do this or that, so Iâm not even going to try.â
The problem with that is that itâs a lazy, piss poor story that people tell themselves that completely sucks their energy and passion right out of their lives. Â It leaves them feeling unfulfilled and incomplete. Â They donât have the hunger to snap out of this limiting thought process and achieve great things in their life.
Theyâre scared to challenge the norms of their family, culture, or society and (at least) try something uniqueâŠbreak free from that limiting comfort zone and go after what they really want in life.
The truth hurts!
